The LinkedIn posting schedule that actually works

Most posting-frequency advice is written for accounts with a content team. Here's what holds up when it's just you and twenty spare minutes a day.

Three to five posts a week is the sweet spot

Below three, you disappear between appearances and every post has to reintroduce you. Above five, quality drops before reach improves. Pick the days you can defend — most people land on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday — and treat them as fixed.

Same hour, every time

The "best time to post" studies contradict each other because the real variable is your audience, not the platform. Posting at the same hour trains the people who already follow you to expect you, and gives you clean data to compare weeks against.

Rotate pillars, not topics

Rotate between a small set of pillars — a lesson, a proof point, an opinion — so the feed sees range without you inventing a new theme every morning. Topics change weekly; pillars stay stable for months.

Protect the first sixty minutes

Early replies matter more than posting time. Schedule your posts for an hour when you can actually answer comments, not the hour a blog told you was optimal.

Make it boring on purpose

A schedule you don't have to think about is a schedule you keep. Auto-Post lets you choose the days and times once, then drafts and publishes on that rhythm — start free.
